Life is too short, love is too precious, and joy is too rewarding to allow anger, jealousy, hurt feelings, or unforgiveness to rob us of living life to its best, loving with all our heart and knowing the contentment of joy. Any one of those things deny us the life of abundance we are meant to be living.
Letting those things go may be and in fact most likely will be a process, and not an immediate closure. Just as a physical wound takes time to completely heal so does an emotional wound. The key is, keep the wound clean, don't pick at it and keep it covered with healing ointment, especially in the early stages of the wounding.
Love covers all...the wounded AND that which inflicted the wound.
