There are times in our busy and hectic lives that we might forget to be sensitive to the pain another person may be enduring. Their pain may not be an area of sensitivity to us personally or seem as a big deal to us at all, but then again, the area of sensitivity in our lives may not be an issue for someone else.
Whether or not we can personally relate to the source of where the pain stems from or a similar personal experience within our own life, the one common factor we can all relate to is at some point within our lives we've all experienced emotional pain of some sort. From THAT place within our heart, be compassionate to those around us as they endure the struggles and trials in their life which causes personal grief for them. Let's do what we can do to lift them up, whether it be a helping hand, prayers, a gentle word of encouragement or possibly just to be friendly company.
Remember, a pained heart is still a pained heart no matter what the issue at hand is.
"Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens and so complete Christ's law." Galatians 6:2
"For everything we know about God's word is summed up in a single sentence: Love other's as you love yourself. That's an act of true freedom." Galatians 5:14
